Ukraine hits Russia's second-largest online retailer

Ukraine has started targeting the warehouses of Ozon, Russia's second-largest online marketplace, following drone strikes on Wildberries.

A drone attack recently ignited a fire at a logistics center in Krasnodar, impacting four Ozon warehouses in southern Russia. Ozon reported additional fires in Makhachkala, while two other sites evacuated due to drone warnings.

Ukraine's defense ministry stated, “After Ukrainian forces hit Wildberries’ 15 largest logistics hubs, it is Ozon’s turn.”

Meanwhile, Russia claims to have shot down nearly 1,000 Ukrainian drones. A drone incident in Krasnodar killed three children and injured others.

Ozon’s stock plummeted nearly 30% after the attacks, prompting discussions of financial support from the Russian government. In Orenburg, operations at the local Ozon warehouse resumed quickly.

President Zelensky emphasized Ukraine's determination to retain its territory on Independence Day.
